I traveled to New York City this weekend, a place where there is very limited green outdoor space. On Tuesday afternoon, with the sun finally shining, there were hundreds of children and adults playing and wandering in Central Park. Even in this busy city, with millions of people on a fairly small island, adults and children were enjoying nature. It was a great sight to see and made me appreciate so much more the large outdoor space I have in my backyard. I think that if busy New Yorkers can find time and space to play outside, I should definitely be able to take advantage of spending time outside!
